History:

A legend calls of a couple in grief and strife, wanting a child of their own. A child will come to them, made from the depths of the seas and the mass of stardust, coming to provide music, joy, and growth. A willing mer will take the journey to be born a mortal human, learn among them as one, but forget their previous life until at the edge of death.

Ias Boone was born on the cold evening of October 31st, 1992 in the United States of America. Born in Oakland, California, they were a healthy baby and assigned the female gender. Due to their father's work, the Boone family traveled around the United States, allowing Ias to have many different experiences on the open road. However, this is also made having contact with friends difficult, due to going to one place and then another. In addition to this, Ias is diagnosed with atypical Autism (PDD-NOS). Despite their parent's support, he was in denial about this diagnosis, which this insistence about being actually "neurotypical" became a great source of pain throughout their entire childhood leading up to their late teens.

Ias realized that they didn't have many friends, or at least, none they could pinpoint that they maintained and kept without intervention from adults. They became aware of their differences from their peers and put the pieces together as to why they were alone most of the time. The dark-haired child became a depressed, emotional, angsty teen, often having suicidal ideations. Finding peace and sanctuary in Goth subculture, they started to wear more black and listening to more metal and alternative music.

Due to her loneliness, Ias was easy prey for a predator she thankfully never met face to face. Her parents were aware of this and went out of their way to find out if this man was who he said he was, only to never hear from him ever again. Ias' parents could afford therapy and for the most part, she had pleasant experiences during it, working hard to get better. In addition, she got along better with adults than her own age group.

When they turned fifteen, they fostered a tiny, black kitten named Curly. Ias realized the kitten was not getting adopted due to their fur color and becoming sick. Determined to give him a better life, the young teen changed his name to Django, which means "I awake" in the Romani language.

After graduation, Ias spent two years at a community college, only to drop out later due to not being able to take on so many classes, thanks to their stamina not being up to par. One day, having enough with their ongoing sadness, depression, anxiety, and feeling alone, they up and left to travel more while their parents retired in Arizona. It was also during this time, Ias did some research on PCOS and gender. Ias identifies as Genderfluid, going by primarily they/them pronouns, he/him second, and she/her very last. They are currently testing to see if they have PCOS.

Personality:

Ias is whoever they decide to be with you at that moment depending on the environment and the individuals involved. This isn't so they can manipulate the situation around them, but to gauge how much they can be themselves around others. Usually polite, reserved, pleasant, even aloof at first, multiple thoughts preoccupy their mind on a constant basis so it can be difficult for others to receive their attention, closing off opportunities for communication. When they come to work, they do their job, hardly dawdle, clock in and out of the time, and return home without so much as a greeting. However, underneath the poker face lies a very lonely and anxious individual. Their biggest fear is rejection. So for less heartbreak, it's easier to keep people at arm's length, or just move up and away if a relationship becomes goes sour.
